A Bold Statement: Introducing This Year’s Winner Diploma Design

Each year, the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards Winner Diploma transforms to reflect the diversity and dynamism of the creative industries we celebrate. Just as no two films are alike, neither should our diplomas be. That’s why we continue our tradition and have graphic designers and illustrators create a unique piece of art for each festival edition – a design that every proud award winner will receive alongside their trophy.

Now in its 16th edition, the festival has showcased a wide array of visual styles through its diplomas over the years. From Art Deco elegance to camera lenses adorned with abstractions of local Mediterranean flora to an ethereal underwater photograph of dolphins – each design has captured a distinct aesthetic and focus.

This year’s diploma, created by Swiss graphic designer Juls Glanzmann, is called the “Bold Collection”. As the name suggests, it centers around strong, striking typography. The festival’s name merges with the background in a layered interplay of meaning: the bold letters can be read as individuals who contributed to the awarded production – or as a blank canvas, with dolphins watching as if they were the audience in a cinema. It’s a design that invites interpretation, encouraging viewers to find their own story within the shapes.
