It is with much anticipation and excitement that we announce our festival is entering its next edition! The submission period for this year’s Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards starts today and runs until June 22nd, 2022. All film producers and filmmakers, agencies, broadcasters and students are invited to submit their best corporate films, online media productions and documentaries, that have been produced/aired or released between 2020 and 2022, to compete in the race for our coveted Dolphin trophies and the Grand Prix.

The new festival edition does not come without some changes either: For the first time, we are awarding two Grand Prix this year. One Grand Prix is awarded among all corporate film productions that have won a Golden Dolphin. The other White Dolphin goes to the festival’s best documentary, selected among the gold winners in these categories.

The new edition of our festival has also brought about some changes to our category portfolio: A total of 49 categories, covering the multitude of relevant topics and areas of corporate media, are now available for all those interested in submitting their productions.

In addition to our established categories such as “Internal Communication” or “Marketing Communication”, some new categories have found their way into our portfolio:

In response to the unfortunately still ongoing worldwide pandemic, we now offer a category for “Films related to the COVID-19 Pandemic”. Since the current situation has also changed things in the marketing area, so that for example launch events could not take place, there is now a separate category for “Product and Launch Videos”. Furthermore, we have also created a new category for “Branded Documentaries”. Other categories, such as “Corporate Social Responsibility” and “Fundraising and Non-profit” now stand on their own.

As part of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT), which brings together the world’s best tourism film festivals, we have also adjusted our “Tourism Films” category. A total of three subcategories are now available for productions promoting travel destinations (cities, regions and countries). In addition, two more categories offer space for either videos that promote tourist experiences in a particular destination, i.e., wellness tourism or gastronomy and wine tourism (“Products”) or videos that promote any service provided to tourists such as accommodation or transportation (“Services”).

We cordially invite everyone to take part in this year’s competition for the coveted Dolphin Awards and are very excited to see which outstanding productions will reach us again this year!
